Admissions Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026Last Updated: July 8, 2026

This Admissions Policy defines the requirements, frameworks, eligibility criteria, and administrative processes regarding registration and student management at Crystal Online School.

1. Non-Discrimination Policy

Crystal Online School is committed to providing equal educational support. We welcome students of all backgrounds, faiths, genders, and national origins. While our primary focus is supporting children of African diaspora descent living in Western countries (UK, US, Canada, Europe), our tutoring programs are open to any student seeking curriculum-matched online learning.

2. Student Eligibility & Age Groups

We provide educational lessons for children aged 5 to 18 years. Age groups are broadly mapped to host country standards:

  • Primary / Elementary (Ages 5 – 11): Focuses on foundational numeracy, phonics, and writing skills.
  • Middle School / Key Stage 3 (Ages 11 – 14): Prepares pupils for advanced subject divisions.
  • Senior / High School / Exam Prep (Ages 14 – 18): Direct target prep for GCSE, A-Level, AP, and SAT/ACT assessments.

3. The Assessment Requirement

To guarantee academic quality, every prospective student must complete a Free Baseline Academic Assessment before admission is finalized. This allows us to:

  1. Evaluate current mathematical, scientific, or literacy levels.
  2. Identify specific knowledge gaps relative to their host country's curriculum.
  3. Recommend the appropriate lesson package (Core, Booster, or Exam Excellence).

4. Tuition Payments & Billing

Tuition is billed on a monthly subscription basis in advance of the first lesson of each billing cycle:

  • All payments are managed securely online via bank transfer or major credit card providers.
  • We do not charge any sign-up fees or deposit reserves.
  • Cancellation: Subscriptions can be canceled at any time by providing at least 14 days' notice before the next monthly billing cycle.
  • Refunds: Refunds are not provided for partial months or unused tutoring credits unless a session is canceled by the school without rescheduling.
